Tribute & Message From The Family

Robert Fennell or as you all might know him " Bob" was born in the Golden State of (California) to William and Emily Fennell on December 12, 1958 and left to be with the Lord on August 24, 2013. Bob was the youngest of six. Being the youngest you can bet he was spoiled and loved unconditionally and still is to this day. Bob served his country in the Army from 1978 to 1981. Shortly after, he fell in love and married Maria Hernandez it wasn't long before they started a family. They have four children, Roseann, Monique, Robert and David. From the time Bob was a child, he knew what he wanted to be and that was to be a truck driver. He eventually fulfilled his dream of owning his own truck and drove for thirty years. Bob was the real deal. He will always be remembered by his signature style, a pocketed flannel shirt, blue jeans and one of his many ball caps. He lived a very peaceful yet outgoing life. He was genuine, honest and lived by his motto "what you do today determines where you will be at tomorrow" and for those of you that knew him know that this was evident in everything he did in life. He enjoyed boating, the beach, NASCAR, his Rig and of course a cold beverage. Bob lived every day to the fullest taking advantage of all positives and overcoming the negatives that came out of life. Bob was a very caring man, who always there for his family and friends whenever needed without hesitation and to some a father figure. Along the course of his life, he made many friends and cherished every moment he spent with them. Bob created great memories along the way which will live with us forever.

Uncle Bobby...we will never stop loving you! You were such an amazing man and uncle. You were so loving and so great to your big brother, my daddy . I will never forget when I would hear your rig pull up on the side of our house-it was always a surprise, I knew it was you because half of our tree fell down the street! I loved when you let me sleep in your rig one night on the side of our house and I was scared but you took care of me. Now let the angels take care of you. we love you we miss you and say hi to my daddy. Love Debbie, Daniel, Laura & Dominic

I am so lucky to have been able to visit you in April, and cherished our time together.

The best was when we decided to go out to lunch, and you weren't suppose to drive, and you weren't taking NO for an answer. :) Then what a coincidence, there was a NASCAR function going on in the parking lot of where we ate lunch. You weren't suppose to be in the sun too much either, but again, nothing was stopping you from walking around and looking at the cars!

Ill always remember when you came home with your new rig, when I was little, and I climbed in and jumped around it...I thought it was so cool because there was a place to sleep in it!

I will always remember your "Smiley" Eyes and when someone would say something to you, you would take it in, reflect, and respond with those twinkly eyes and shy half smile.

I love you Uncle Bobby! I hope you're driving a rig down the streets of gold!
